SUBJECT: Update - Domestic Partnership Re ' tration
This Letter to Commission (LTC) is intended to provide you with an update as to the number
of domestic partners registered to date.
As you may recall, the City Commission adopted Ordinance 2004 -3451 at its meeting of July
28, 2004.
On September 6, 2006, via LTC 227 -2006, the Administration reported that the City Clerk's
Office had processed 200 Domestic Partnership Registrations.
To date, there have been a total of 400 domestic partners registered, with 33 official
terminations. Currently, the fee to register is $50 and the fee for termination is $25.
Attached is a breakdown by gender, city and state for your information.
