The purpose of this Letter to the City Commission is to transmit the Miami Beach Police
Department's 2010 Annual Report.
In spite of a record number of visitors to the destination, 2010 concluded with the lowest violent
crime rates for the City of Miami Beach on record since the Florida Department of Law
Enforcement began recording these statistics
