SUBJECT: Seniors' Holiday Party
This letter to Commission is provided to inform you of an upcoming holiday event for seniors: To
commemorate this time of the year, the City of Miami Beach Parks and Recreation Department
and the Miami Beach Convention Center, managed by.Global Spectrum, will be hosting a Holiday
Party for senior citizens on Thursday,. December 15, 2011, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the
Convention Center, Hall D Ballroom, 1901 Convention Center Drive.
Seniors -will have an opportunity to mingle and meet new friends, as well as enjoy an .evening of
food, fun and dancing while celebrating the holidays. To add-to the fun, Mr. & Mrs. Claus will make
a special appearance. In addition, members of the Miami Beach Teen Club will be providing
assistance during the event to make this Holiday Party an unforgettable one.
The "Holiday Party" is one of many free events offered 'throughout the year for our senior
residents: Events like these bring seniors from our community together for evenings of fun and
entertainment.
