SUBJECT: Flamingo Park Pool Closed for Repairs
The purpose of this Letter to Commission (LTC) is to inform you that the Flamingo Park Pool will close
beginning Monday, February 6, 2012 for pool deck repairs. It is expected that the repairs, which are
being managed by the CIP Department, will take approximately four weeks.
In order to accommodate patrons, the Scott Rakow Youth Center and Normandy Isle Park pools will
modify their current open swim hours of operation to better serve the public's needs as follows:
Scott Rakow Youth Center
Monday — Friday 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Tuesdays /Thursdays /Fridays 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Saturdays 6:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Sundays 6:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
(Note — Scott Rakow Youth Center will continue to offer its youth programs and swim team during
non -open swim hours)
Normandy Isle Pool
Monday— Sunday 6:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
