SUBJECT: Health Fair and Bingo Night for Seniors Event
The purpose of this Letter to Commission (LTC) is to inform you of the Health Fair and Bingo
Night for Seniors event presented by the City and sponsored by Simply Healthcare, which will be
held on Tuesday, May 22n in Hall D of the Miami Beach Convention Center. In support of our
efforts to improve the lives of elderly residents, the City's Parks & Recreation Department and the
Office of Community Services are collaborating to present an interactive, entertaining and
informative evening for seniors. The event flyer is attached for your reference. A total of 700
tickets will be made available to seniors through our Parks Department, Community Services
Division and buildings that serve seniors. Tickets to the event were also provided to your offices
today.
The event will feature:
• Free transportation to and from the event from select locations throughout the City
• Free health screenings by local health care providers

Florida Senior Medicare Patrol
