Subject: Evaluation Committee Related to Request for Qualifications (RFQ) No. 24 -11/12 for
Citywide Surveying, Topographical, and Mapping Services on an As- Needed Basis
The purpose of this LTC is to update the Mayor and City Commission on Request for
Qualifications (RFQ) No. 24- 11/12, which seeks to establish an agreement with a reputable firm(s)
for Citywide surveying, topographical, and mapping services on an as- needed basis.
I am considering appointing the following individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee on the
above subject RFQ:
• Muayad Abbas — Resident, Leadership Academy Graduate
• Bert Dorrestyn — GIS Manager, Public Works Department
• Dwight Kraai — Resident, Capital Improvements Project Oversight Committee Member
• Michael Phang — Resident, Associate Dean at the University of Miami College of
Engineering
• Deborah Tackett — Senior Planner, Planning Department
I am also considering Capital Projects Coordinators Darlene Fernandez and Jose Perez as
alternates.
I would appreciate your comments and /or suggestions by Monday, May 21, 2012.
