SUBJECT: Evaluation Committee Relative to Request for Qualifications (RFQ) No. 57- 11/12, For
The Purpose of Conducting the Required 40 -Year Building Recertification and Subsequent
10 -Year Building Recertification, as Required by Miami -Dade County Code
The purpose of this LTC is to update the Mayor and City Commission on the Request for
Qualifications (RFQ) No. 57- 11/12, for the above project. I am considering appointing the following
individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee:
Herman Fung, Property Management Contracts Coordinator
• Mohsin Jarahpour, Chief Engineering Inspector, Building Dept
• Maria Mayer, Citizens Academy Graduate
• Muayad Abbas, Citizens Academy Graduate
Alternates
In the event that the appointed committee members cannot attend any scheduled meeting and /or
are found to have a conflict of interest, I am considering the following alternates:
• Candelario Martinez, Chief Electrical Inspector, Building Dept
• Duane Knecht, Property Management Division Director
• Jason Hagopian, Citizens Academy Graduate
