UBJECT: Planning Boar Discussion — Regulatory Authority for Boat Docks
On September 24, 2012, the Planning Board requested that the Land Use and Development
Committee place a discussion item on an upcoming agenda regarding the regulatory
authority of boat dock and lift applications and whether such regulatory authority should be
shifted from the Planning Board to another Board.
The Administration recommends that the Commission provide any appropriate policy
direction on this matter, including a referral to the Land Use and Development Committee
for review and consideration.
