FOR THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH BALLOT QUESTIONS
This LTC is to transmit the Unofficial Results of the November 6, 2012 Miami Beach Special
Election. The Official Results, including overseas absentee ballots, is anticipated to be
received on November 16,2012.
Question 1:
Establishing City Clerk as a Charter Officer
The total number of votes cast was 22,780, of which number:
Yes for approval received: 13.408 votes
No for rejection received: 9,372 votes
Question 2:
Voter Approval Required to Reduce Historic Preservation Board Powers and Duties or
Historic Preservation Standards
The total number of votes cast was 22,211, of which number:
Yes for approval received: 13,605 votes
No for rejection received: 8,606 votes
Question 3:
Change Of Filing Period For Qualifying Petitions
The total number of votes cast was 20,787, of which number:
Yes for approval received: 12,080 votes
No for rejection received: 8,707 votes
Question 4:
Limited Waiver Of City Qualifying Fee
The total number of votes cast was 20,575, of which number:
Yes for approval received: 11,742 votes
