SUBJECT: Designation of New Year's Eve Weekend 2012 and Bowl Championship Series
Weekend as High Impact Periods
Pursuant to Section 46- 92(g)(1)(b) of the Miami Beach City Code, the five (5) day period
beginning at 7:00 am on Friday, December 28, 2012 through and including 11:59 pm on
Tuesday, January 1, 2013 (New Year's Eve Weekend), as well as the four (4) day period
beginning at 7:00 am on Friday, January, 4, 2013 through and including 11:59 pm on
Monday, January 7, 2013 (Bowl Championship Series Weekend) are hereby designated
as High Impact Periods. As such, commercial handbills shall not be distributed in the Art
Deco Historic District during these High Impact Periods in the following areas:
• Ocean Drive from 6th through 15th Streets;
• Washington Avenue from 6th through 17th Streets;
• Collins Avenue from 6 through 17 Streets; and
• on any portion of Lincoln Road.
