SUBJECT: Existing Vacancy on the Design Review Board
It is with regret and sadness that I must inform the City Commission of the recent passing of 5
Design Review Board (DRB) member Lilia Medina. It was recently reported to Planning
Department staff that Ms. Medina passed away unexpectedly of natural causes. Lilia was
appointed to the DRB in June of 2010 and was re- appointed to the Board this past January.
Lilia's position on the DRB was in the capacity of Professional Urban Planner, and is from
the following possible categories:
a. An architect registered in the United States
b. A professional practicing in the fields of architectural or urban design
c. A professional urban planner
d. A resident with demonstrated interest or background in design issues
e. An attorney in good standing licensed to practice law within the United States.
The most recent list of persons who have applied to be on the DRB is on file with the City
Clerk.
