SUBJECT: Fine Arts Board Motion
At its regular meeting on March 14, 2013, the Fine Arts Board unanimously passed the
following motion:
"The Fine Arts Board (FAB) respectfully requests that the Mayor and Commission direct
the Administration to review the Ordinance, Rules and enforcement strategies for street
artist vendors. _FAB feels that the rules are too broad. Furthermore, FAB feels that the
lack of enforcement on the street nullifies its monthly artist certification process, since its
members have observed nearly every licensed vendor selling commercially-produced
products."
