SUBJECT: .Earth Hour 2013
This Letter to Commission is provided to invite you to-participate in Earth Hour.
At 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 23 lights will be switched off around the globe for Earth
Hour: Earth .Hour is an annual international event organized by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF)
,to raise awareness of climate change and to encourage people, communities, municipalities, '
and nations to address the issue through proactive changes. The City will observe Earth Hour
by turning off all non - essential lights in. City facilities located, in the City Center from 8:30 p.m. to
9:30 p.m. We encourage our residents to participate in the event by switching off lights in their
homes or businesses and keeping them off for at least oner hour.
