Dear Ms. Florez:
According to our files, you withdrew your name as candidate for Commissioner Group I on
March 6, 2013. Pursuant to Florida Statutes §106.141 (1): "Each candidate who withdraws his
or her candidacy, becomes an unopposed candidate, or is eliminated as a candidate or elected
to office shall, within 90 days, dispose of the funds on deposit in his or her campaign account
and file a report reflecting the disposition of all remaining funds." As a result, your Campaign
Treasurer's Termination Report (TR) is due no later than 5:00 p.m., June 4, 2013 in the City
Clerk's Office, 1700 Convention Center Drive, Miami Beach, Florida, 33139.
Failure to timely submit your Campaign Treasurer's Termination Report may subject you to a
fine being assessed for each late day. Pursuant to Florida Statutes §106.07, the fine is $50 per
day for each late day, not to exceed 25 percent of the total receipts or expenditures, whichever
is greater, for the period covered by the late report.
