One,of the methods researched is having bus transportation from the Convention Center to Midtown and Ocean Drive. We have received a proposal from the same bus company (TMS) that transports people from the airport to the port. TMS has suggested approximately six (6) busses with headways of fifteen (15) minutes; approximate cost is $63,000 (see attached proposal). An option to pay for this cost is through the underwriting of a sponsor in exchange for advertising on the busses. Bob Goodman has stated that Art Basel may have potential sponsors and would only need a letter from the City authorizing them to move forward with the plan. The TPC highly recommends that the City move forward and hire this bus service. Sincerely, Transportation and Parking Committee. f f`
