The purpose of this Letter to Commission (LTC) is to provide you %W6 ifH6 rJe ults of thgr;�
most recent county-wide Homeless Census.
Beginning 10pm on Thursday, August 29th and continuing until 4:30am, Friday, August
30 , the City joined the Miami-Dade County Homeless Trust in its biannual Homeless
Census. City staff was joined by volunteers from various community agencies to conduct
a street-level count of homeless persons residing within our City.
The following chart lists the locations where 131 homeless people were encountered:

City staff will incorporate this information in its outreach strategies in its ongoing effort to
reduce homelessness in our community.
