SUBJECT: City of Miami Beach Transpo tion Program Survey
The purpose of this Letter to Commission is to update the Commission on the status of an
upcoming transportation survey for City employees. The Planning Department has
coordinated with South Florida Commuter Services (SFCS) to gather information on
employee commuting patterns, to gauge willingness to .use carpools, transit, and other
alternative modes, and to gauge if the number of employees choosing these options would
be increased through the provision of incentives.
Attached is copy of the approved survey in both English and Spanish, as well a timeline for
the City of Miami Beach Employee Transportation Program. The distribution and collection
will be facilitated by the Planning and Human Resource Departments. Employees with email
will receive the survey via an email link and employees without email will receive a paper
co p y .
Per the Program Timeline, the survey distribution will commence January 2014. Should you '
