Dear Honorable Mayor and City Commission:
Miami Dade Transit provided a presentation to the Transportation and Parking
Committee on Monday, December 2, 2013, regarding their plan to install
modems on all South Beach Local buses. This will enable bus riders,via a
telephone app, to track location and arrival times of the SBL buses, as well as
provide free wifi to passengers.
The Transportation and Parking Committee passed a motion requesting that the
City of Miami Beach go forward with this plan.
