SUBJECT: Evaluation Committee Relative to 'bequest for Proposals (RFP) No. 2015-129-ME, for
Construction Manager at Risk SO-vices for the Miami Beach Convention Center
Renovation and Expansion Project the RFP).
The purpose of this LTC is to update the Mayor and City Commission on the Request for Proposals
(RFP)No. 2015-129-ME,which seeks proposals from Construction Management firms for the Miami
Beach Convention Center Renovation and Expansion project.
The deadline for proposals is April 10, 2015. Responsive proposals will be reviewed by the
Evaluation Committee in accordance with the criteria established in the RFP which will rank
proposers based upon experience and qualifications, lead project manager and superintendent
experience, organizational plan, and financial capability.
I am considering appointing the following individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee:
• James Goldsmith, President and CEO, Gator Investments and Resident
• Randy Weisburd, Chief Operating Officer, Atlantic & Pacific Companies and Resident
• Larry Gragg, President and Chief Operating Officer, Codina Partners
• Carmen Sanchez, Deputy Planning Director
