SUBJECT: BUDGET ADVISORY COMMITTEE MOTION
The purpose of this Letter to Commission (LTC) is to inform the Commission of a motion passed
by The Budget Advisory Committee regarding the proposed FY2015/16 General Fund. The
Committee's recommendation regarding the Proposed FY2015/16 General Fund was approved
at their June 2, 2015, meeting.

Motion made by John Fryd
Motion seconded by Brian Harris
Motion Text:
A motion was made by Jonathan Fryd and seconded by Brian Harris advising the Mayor
and Commission on the allocation of the $3.6 million surplus by lowering the millage to
meet the millage rate goal and put the remaining $1.5 million surplus toward the General
Fund Reserve. The Motion passed by a vote of 7-0.
The Budget Advisory Committee urges the Mayor and Commission to support the above
request.
