SUBJECT: Recommendation to adhere to �original neighborhood improvement plans that
included sidewalk on Sunset D ve - Sunset Islands III and IV Project
The purpose of this Letter to Commission (LTC) is to notify you of the DAC request to
the City of Miami Beach, to adhere to original plans for the neighborhood improvements project
on Sunset Islands III and IV.
The members of the Disability Access Committee discussed the item at the October 20,
2015 meeting and voted by majority (10 votes in favor, 2 absentees, 1 abstained) to support the
original plans that included installation of a sidewalk along Sunset Drive for pedestrian safety
concerns.
