And you get people who couldn’t care
less about putting trash in a can.
The County Beach Maintenance crew
arrives between 6:00 AM and 6:15 AM
At 6:54 AM a young woman asks the crew supervisor
“When will you start cleaning the waterline?”
Within minutes, photos of the
waterline to the north….
….and to the south show the waterline
clean and spotless.
By 7 AM the sifter has begun it’s fine
cleaning of the beach face.
The ground crew has removed all glass and articles which could
damage the equipment or cause injury to beachgoers.
And by 7:30 AM sifting in this area is
nearing completion.
All trash cans have been emptied,
And the early morning crowd….
….begins again to enjoy our beach.
