SUBJECT: Allison Park Accessible Playground Design Update
The purpose of this LTC is to provide the Commission with a design update regarding the
Accessible Playground in Allison Park. As per the direction of the Historic Preservation Board,
City staff met with representatives from the neighboring condominiums on Wednesday, March
16t to discuss the design of the Allison Park project. Staff and residents had a thoughtful
conversation, and the following modifications will be presented at the next Historic Preservation
Board meeting:
• Elimination of all proposed picnic tables within the open park area
• Addition of one picnic table within the enclosed playground area
• Reduction of ADA parking spaces, for a total of 5 ADA parking spaces
• Enhancement of the proposed greenspace on the south side of Allison Park
