SUBJECT: Mayor's North Beach Master Plan Steering Committee Motions
The purpose of this Letter to the Commission (LTC) is to inform the Commission of the
motions passed by the Mayor's North Beach Master Plan Steering Committee at their
meeting held on June 9, 2016.
Members Present: Margueritte Ramos, Daniel Veitia, Carolina Jones, Brad
Bonessi, Kirk Pascal.
Members Absent: Nancy Liebman, Betsy Perez
1) The following motion was made by Daniel Veitia:
MOTION: Requesting the City Administration engage West 8 to create a
conceptual plan for North Shore Open Space Park showing the placement of a
combination skate park on the southern end of the Park within 90 days for the
Committee to make a recommendation on the skate park placement.
Motion seconded by: Carolina Jones
Motion passed by a vote of 5- 0
2) The following motion was made by Daniel Veitia:
MOTION: Given the support shown by the Commission for creation of historic
districts as defined in the Draft North Beach Master Plan, the Steering
Committee supports the increase of height in all TC-1 zoning districts in Town
Center to 12 stories.

Motion passed by a vote of 5- 0
