SUBJECT: Personnel Board Group 2 Electio
Pursuant to City Code Section 2-190.69, the Office of the City Clerk commenced election
procedures to elect the employee representative of Group 2 for the Personnel Board,for the
term commencing August 1, 2016 and ending July 31, 2019. Group 2 consists of
"employees in clerical and executive positions."
On June 3, 2016 and June 20, 2016, a notice was sent to eligible Group 2 employees
informing them that an election had been called to elect the Group 2 employee
representative to the Personnel Board. The notice was disseminated via e-mail to
Department Directors, Division Directors, Management Team, Assistant Department
Directors and Assistant Division Directors with instructions to post and distribute the notice
among their employees. Group 2 employees had from Monday, June 13, 2016 to Friday,
June 24, 2016 to declare their interest in qualifying to run as the Group 2 employee
representative on the Personnel Board.
The incumbent to the Group 2 seat, Mr. Eduardo Carranza, Senior Building Inspector from
the Building Department, was the only employee who filed to fill the vacancy in Group 2;
therefore, Mr. Carranza is deemed elected without opposition as the Group 2 employee
representative to the Personnel Board, to fill the three-year term ending on July 31, 2019.

We, the undersigned Clerk and Witness, do hereby certify that:
