SUBJECT: Mayor's North Beach Master Plan "•teering Committee Motions
The purpose of this Letter to the Commission (LTC) is to inform the Commission of three
(3) motions passed by the Mayor's North Beach Master Plan Steering Committee at their
September 20, 2016 meeting.
Members Present: Margueritte Ramos, Daniel Veitia, Brad Bonessi, Kirk Paskal,
Nancy Liebman, Carolina Jones.
Members Absent: Betsy Perez
1) MOTION: To recommend the City Commission approve the Proposed North
Beach Master Plan as presented.
Motion Made By: Nancy Liebman
Motion Seconded By: Daniel Veitia
Motion Passed: Votes 6-0
2) MOTION: Recommending the City create a staff position of North Beach
Coordinator and create a North Beach Master Plan Implementation Committee
consisting of North Beach residents, appointed by the Commission.

Motion Seconded By: Brad Bonessi
Motion Passed: Votes 5-1 (Carolina Jones dissenting)
3) MOTION: Recommending the City Commission consider balanced
representation of each of the City's three districts (South, Mid, and North Beach)
on each City Commission appointed board to insure the interest of each district is
considered.
