SUBJECT: Sunset Harbour Business Community eeting
The purpose of this Letter to Commission is to inform you of the upcoming Sunset Harbour Business
Community Meeting.
This past month, the Sunset Harbour Neighborhood experienced unexpected flooding as a result of both
rainfall events and the king tides. On November 7, City staff will be holding a meeting with neighborhood
business and property owners to discuss recent neighborhood improvement projects (Attachment).
Representatives from Public Works, Tourism, Cultural, and Economic Development, Grants Management,
Environment/Sustainability, as well as the City Manager's Office will be present to answer questions and
work on options to protect private property from future flood occurrences.
