SUBJECT: Evaluation Committee Relative to Request for Proposals (RFP) No. 2017-004-KB, for
Design/Build Services For A New "arking Garage Facilities And Related Infrastructure At
Surface Parking Lots P13 And P16
The purpose of this LTC is to update the Mayor and City Commission on the status of Request for
Proposals (RFP) No. 2017-004-KB, which seeks to establish an agreement with a qualified firm(s) for
design/build services for new parking garage facilities and related infrastructure at surface parking lots
P13 and P16.
The City received seven (7) proposals pursuant to this RFP on Friday, December 9, 2016. The
responsive proposals will be reviewed by the Evaluation Committee in accordance with the criteria
established in the RFP.
I am considering appointing the following individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee:
• Rocio Alba, Administrative Services Manager, Parking Department, City of Miami Beach
• Saul Gross, Member of the Washington Blue Ribbon Panel
• Diego Lopez, Capital Projects Coordinator, Capital Improvement Program Division, City of
Miami Beach
• Adrian Morales, Senior Administrative Manager, Property Management Department, City of

• Deborah Tackett, Chief of Historic Preservation, Planning Department, City of Miami Beach
I am also considering the following individuals as alternates:
