Ord.# 76-2064 adopted amending Chapters 2 & 25 of City Code so as to designate certain Parks & Recreation Dept. employees as Litter Enforcement Officers (first reading 5/5/76) Requested by Councilman Sahl, Memo #5686. 84 Date 6/3%7T Mrs. Judith Kreeger, representing a group of 6/2/76 mothers whose children participate in the summer parks program, appeared and requested that there be no reduction in summer programs. She advised that, realizing City's financial bind, the parents are willing to pay increased fees and to subsidize those children whose families are unable to pay. Parks and Rec. Dir. PARKS AND PLAYGROUNDS 85 (continued) Date advised that there were no plans to reduce the program but that the staff, although less in number than last year, would be adequate. Mrs. Kreeger and other interested parties were re- quested to meet with Parks and Rec. Dir. to review department's plans for programs at various parks as well as idea of increased fees for these activities. 6/2/76 B.A.0 recommended that increased user fees 9/13/76 -BW be established at Community Centers & Youth Center so that deficits are within reasonable limits. Also that fees for special classes be sufficient to cover cost of classes. Parks & Rec. Director concurs in recommendation and
