SUBJECT: Co-naming 5th Street as 'Miami Beach Boulevard' — Recommendation of Historic
Preservation Board
On December 13, 2016, the Historic Preservation Board discussed the possibility of co-naming
5th Street as 'Miami Beach Boulevard'. During the discussion, the Board made a
recommendation to the Mayor and City Commission in support of the co-naming.
The Administration recommends that the City Commission consider the above noted
recommendation of the Historic Preservation Board and provide appropriate policy direction.
