BE IT ORDAITIED By the City Council of the City of TIiami Beach,
Florida, as follows:

1. Noerson or
P persons shall allow to remain longer than ,

thirty-six hours or over night , in� g any alley or on any sidewalk

or prerr:ises, within thirty feet of any building, empty boxes,
rubbish, barrels, trash, waste paper, excelsior or other like cora
bitstible materials,
2. No person or persons shall be allowed to place ashes within '
any building in any box, barrel, or other wooden vessel or upon
any wooder. vessel or -floor.

any oily waste or oil rags, unless at all times when not actually

4. All owners or occupants of buildings are required to permit
the Chief of the Fire Department to inspect their buildings to see t
if the terms of this ordinance are complied wish., and it is hereby
made the duty of the Chief of the Fire Department to make such
inspection whenever and wherever they may suspect a violation of
the foregoing ordinance.
5. Any person, violating any 'of the provisions of this ordinance �

shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall
be fined not less than Five Dollars, nor more than Twenty-five
Dollars, or imprisoned in the City jail not more than 25 days, for
each offence, and each twerty-four hours of maintenance of the
things prohibited herein shall constitute a separate and dis-.
tinct offence.
6. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with
the foregoing; are hereby repealed,
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
t after its passage, and -nostinFr in accordance with law.
