ViHEREAS, this body has been petitioned by the owners of certain
lots abutting upon that portion of a public street known and designated as
Cardinal Street, which extends in a Northerly and Southerly direction on
West side of blocks J and G and on East side of Block X according to an
amended snap of the Ocean Frontroperty of The liiami Beach Improvement
Company, in the City of Miami Beach, Dade County, Florida, to vacate such
street. And it app earing that all owners of lots which might be injuriously
affected by such proposed vacation are in favor of the sk.me, Now
THEREFORE BE IT ORDLIiIED by the City of ;Miami Beach, Florida, that
tha public street known and designated as Cardinal Street, which extends in
a Northerly and Southerly direction on Vest side of Blocks J and G and on .East
side of Block K and the small triangular tract lying West of Block G and South
of Block ifm according to the aaended map pf the Ocean Front property of The
Miami Beach Improvement Company, said reap being recorded in Flat Bool No. 5,
pages 7 and 8 of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, be and the same
is hereby vacated, discontinued and abolished, said vacation to include all
dedicated land -East of the Eabi line of Mliami Avenue and all dedicated land
bring South of the South line/22nd Street 1,,-ing parallel with the canal.
This ordinance snail take effect after the same shall have been
posted at the door of the City Hall of the said City of Miami Beach, Florida,
and two other public places, Miami Beach Improvement Company's office and
The United States Engineer's office, there being no public market place in
said city, said posting to be for a period of thirty days.
