ORDINANCE NO. 107.
AN ORDINANCE VACATING THAT PORTION OF A PUBLIC ALLEY
WHICH EXTENDS IN A NORTHERLY AND SOUTHERLY DIRECTION
THROUGH BLOCK FIFTEEN, ACCORDING TO THE AMENDED MAP
OF THE OCEAN FRONT PROPERTY OF THE MIAMI BEACH Ild-
PROVEMENT COMPANY.
WHEREAS, this body has been petitioned by the owners of certain
lots abutting upon that portion of a public alley which extends
in a Northerly and Southerly direction through Block nutbered
Fifteen (15) , according to an amended map of the Ocean Front Pro-
perty of the Miami Beach Improvement Company, in the City of
Miami Beach, Dade County, Florida, to vacate that portion of such
alley, and it appeasing that all owners of lots which might be
injuriously affected by such proposed vacation are in favor of the
same; NOW
THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED by the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that
that portion of the public alley which extends through block num-
bered fifteen (15) according to the amended map of the Ocean Front
property of the Miami Beach Improvement Company, said map being
recorded in Plat Book No. 5 at pages -°T> and 9 of the Public Records
of Dade County, -Florida, and lying between the North line of Sev-
enth Street , now 31st street , and the South line of Eighth Street ,
now 32nd Street and which lies between lots numbered one (1) , Two
(2) , Three (3) and Four (4) of said Block numbered Fifteen (15 upon
the East thereof and lots numbered Five (5) , Six (6) , Seven C7 and
Eight (8) upon the West thereof be and the same is hereby vacated,
discontinued and abolished.
THIS ORDINANCE shall take effect after the same shall have been post-
ed at the door of the City Hall of said City of Miami Beach, Florida,
there being no public market place in said city, said posting to be
for a period of four weeks.
