Ordinance 1461 ORDINANCE NO. 1461
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 4.19, CHAPTER 4,
OF "THE CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
1950, " AS AMENDED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION l: That that portion of Section 4.19, Chapter 4 of "The
Code of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, 1950, " as
amended, reading as follows:
"Canopy District C. This district shall
consist of the west side of Collins Avenue,
between the north property line of Seventy-
fourth Street and the south property line
of Seventy-fifth Street; and the north side
of Seventy-fourth Street, between the west
property line of Collins Avenue and the
east property line of the alley between
Collins Avenue and Harding Avenue.
In this district, permanent canopies, if
erected, shall be cantilever from the main
building walls and shall project a uniform
distance of seven feet from the property
line, and shall be a uniform height above
the sidewalk of ten feet. "
be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Canopy District C. This district shall
include the West side of Collins Avenue
from the North property line of 73rd Street
to the South property line of 75th Street;
and the North and South sides of 74th Street
between the West property line of Collins
Avenue and the East property line of the
alley between Collins Avenue and Harding
Avenue.
In this District, permanent canopies,
if erected, shall be cantilevered from
the main building walls, and shall project
a uniform distance of six (6) feet into
Collins Avenue and a uniform distance of
-three (3) feet into 74th Street, and shall
be a uniform height above the sidewalk of
ten (10) feet. "
SECTION 2: All ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same
are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3 : This ordinance shall go into effect immediately
upon its passage and posting as required by law.
