Ordinance 1462 ORDINANCE NO. 146:2
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 15, OF "THE
CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
1950" , AS AMENDED, BY ADDING A NEW SECTION
THERETO TO BE NUMBERED SECTION 15 .19.9.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Chapter 15 of "The Code of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, 1950", as amended, be and the same
is hereby amended so as to add a new section thereto immediately
following Section 15 .19.8 to be numbered and to read as follows:
"Section 15 .19.9. It shall be unlawful for
any hostess, waitress, female entertainer
or female employee in a place dispensing
alcoholic beverages for consumption on the
premises to be served any beverage, whether
an alcoholic beverage or otherwise, for
which a customer or patron in such estab-
lishment pays. "
SECTION 2: All ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same
are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3 : This ordinance shall go into effect immediately
upon its passage and posting as required by law.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 3rd day of October 1962.
