AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17 OF
"THE CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA, 1950" .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1a That Chapter 17 of "The Code of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, 1950" , be and the same is hereby
amended by adding a new section thereto to follow immediately
after Section 17014 to be numbered and to read as follows :
"Section 17.14010
It is hereby made the duty of any person
conducting the business, occupation or profession
of an insurance agent to file a sworn statement
with the City Clerk listing the name of each
insurance company, as defined by Section 17016,
for which he is acting. For his failure to do so,
he shall, upon conviction, be fined or imprisoned
or both as provided herein. "
SECTION 2 : All ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same
are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3 : This ordinance shall go into effect immediately upon
its passage and posting as required by law.

having been passed and adopted by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in
three conspicuous places in the City of Miami Beach, one
of which was at the door of the City Hall in said City on
the 16th day of October A,D. 19_C 3 , and that said
Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least thirty
days in accordance with the requirements of the City
Charter of the said City of Miami Beach.
