Ordinance 1475ORDINANCE NO. 1475 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 6.03.03 OF ORDINANCE NO. 845 OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CREATION AND MAINTENANCE OF A PENSION AND RETIREMENT SYSTEM FOR CERTAIN EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA". BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That Section 6.03.03 of Ordinance No. 845 of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, reading as follows: "Section 6.03.03 All payments from the combined funds of this System and the Systems created under Ordinances No. 734 and 498, shall be made by the Chief Finance Officer, only upon vouchers signed by him and countersigned by two other persons designated by the Board. A duly attested copy of a resolution of the Board designating such persons, and bearing upon its face specimen signatures of such persons shall be filed as authority for making payments upon such vouchers. No voucher shall be drawn unless it shall have been previously authorized by resolution of the Board, except that the Board may, by resolution, authorize the Chief Finance Officer to issue vouchers for Separation Refunds not exceeding One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) and for minor adjustments of Employee contributions." be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 6.03.03 All payments from the combined funds of this System and the Systems created under Ordinances No. 734 and 498, shall be made by the Chief Finance Officer, only upon vouchers signed by him and countersigned by two other persons designated by the Board. JOHNSON, City Clerk of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, do hereby certify that Ordinance No. 1475 entitled: "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 6.03.03 of ORDINANCE NO. 845 OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ENTITLED 'AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CREATION AND MAINTENANCE OF A PENSION AND RETIRE- MENT SYSTEM FOR CERTAIN EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA" having been passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in three conspicuous places in the City of Miami Beach, one of which was at the door of the City Hall in said City on the 19th day of December, A,D. 19 62 , and that said Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least thirty days in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter of the said City of Miami Beach.
