SUBJECT: LIGHTING AT SOUTH POINTE PA K FOR MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND
In preparation of the High Impact Event Period during Memorial Day Weekend, the City
will be re-stationing six portable light towers at South Pointe Park from Thursday, May
25'"to Tuesday, May 30� .
These light towers will be strategically posted throughout the park. All illumination will be
directed into the park and away from neighboring residential condominiums. Light towers
will be turned on by 8:00 p.m. and turned off at approximately sunrise.
These protective measures are an additional step in providing a safe and enjoyable
experience for residents and park patrons alike during the High Impact Event Period.
Park and pier hours will not be affected and will adhere to regular hours of operation.
