Ordinance 1476 ORDINANCE NO. 1476
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 13 .48 OF "THE
CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
1950", AS AMENDED,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Section 13 .48 of "The Code of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, 1950", as amended, be and the same
is hereby amended by adding thereto, immediately following the
words "As provided by Section 1.8 of this Code", the following:
"The possession of food, food products,
beverages and merchandise which, in fact,
are not kosher in any premises wherein it
is held out that only kosher food, food
products, beverages and merchandise are
dealt in therein shall be prima facie
evidence that the person in possession of
such premises exposes such food, food
products, beverages and merchandise for
sale with intent to defraud. "
SECTION 2: That all ordinances in conflict herewith be and the
same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: That this ordinance shall go into effect immediately
upon its passage and posting as required by law.

AS AMENDED",
having been passed and adopted by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in
three conspicuous places in the City of Miami Beach, one
of which was at the door of the City Hall in said City on
the 19th day of December A,D. 19 62 and that said
Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least thirty
days in accordance with the requirements of the City
Charter of the said City of Miami Beach.
