Ordinance 1497 ORDINANCE NO. 1497
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 37 OF "THE
CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
1950" .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Chapter 37 of "The Code of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida,. 1950", be and the same is hereby
amended by adding thereto new sections to be numbered and to
read as follows:
"Section 37.104.1. It shall be unlawful
for any motor vehicle required to be reg-
istered under the provisions of Chapter
320, Florida Statutes, 1961, to be parked
in any off street parking lot or facility
owned or operated by the City unless such
motor vehicle shall have affixed thereto
a current license tag or plate. "
"Section 37.104.2. It shall be unlawful
for any motor vehicle required to be in-
spected under the Traffic Code of Metro-
politan Dade County to be parked in any
off street parking lot or facility owned
by the City unless a current inspection
sticker is affixed to such motor vehicle. "
"Section 37.128.1. The following shall
constitute the fixed, uniform schedule
of fines to be paid by offenders to the
Traffic Violations Bureau for the vio-
lations of Sections 37.99, 37.100,
37.104.1 and 37.104.2:
Overtime Parking in a Metered
Zone if paid within 48 hours
of issuance (excluding week-
ends and holidays) $1.00
If paid within 7 days of
issuance, but after 48 hours
where no summons or warrant
has been issued 3 .00
When summons or warrant is
issued; after 30 days or five
tickets, whichever comesfirst 5.00 each
ticket
Overtime Parking in a Posted
Time Zone 1.00
Restricted or Improper Parking 1.00

SECTION 2: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3 : This ordinance shall go into effect immediately

three conspicuous places in the City of Miami Beach, one
of which was at the door of the City Hall in said City on
the 6th day of November A,D. 19 63 , and that said
Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least thirty
days in accordance with the requirements of the City
Charter of the said City of Miami Beach.
