ORDINANCE NO. 1533
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 7$9
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 789 of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida be and the sa�ne is hereby amend�d by adding
a new section thereto immediately following Section 2 thereoft
the same to be numbered and to read as follows:
"SECTION 2.1. The City Manager is hereby authorizedt in
his discretion� to direct that employees in
any division or department of the Cityl as he may deem
appropriate, be paid bi-weekly, commencing at such time
as he shall deem appropriate. In the event of the issu-
ance of such directivet the amount of bi-weekly compensa-
tion of such employees shall be computed in accordance
with the following formula:
12 x monthlv com�ensation x 14 = bi-weekly compensation

In applying such formulal any resulting fractional part
of�a dollar shall be counted as a dollar."
SECTION 2: ��i��o�c�3i.nances in conflict herewith be and the same
are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: This ordinance shall go into effect immediately �pon
its passage and posting as required by law.
