ORDINANCE N0. 1561

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 18 OF THE
"CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA"
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIANiI BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Section 18.�1 of the "Code of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida"be and the same is hereby amended as follows:
rrSection 18.�1 The City is hereby d.ivided into the following
Districts: Districts rrAtt� �t$i�� �tCrr� uD��� aErt�
"F", "G,', "H", "H-1" and "I". The boundaries of such Districts
are shown on the map which is on f ile in the office of the City
Clerk.- Sueh map, together with the legends, words, f igures,
sy�nbols and other explanatory matter thereon, is hereby made as
much a part of this Code as if all of the matters and informa-
tion set forth thereon were fully set forth in this Section."
SECTION 2: That Chap�ter 18.�1 of the "Code of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, be and the same is hereby amended by adding a
new Section thereto to be numbered and to read as follows:
"Sec%ion 18.�9.1 In any "H-1" the sale of liquor is prohibited,
except from service bars in bona fide restaur-
ants and in hotels having one hundred or more sleeping rooms;
provided, however, that each of such hotel sleeping rooms shall
meet the requirements of Section 1305.2 of the South Florida
Building Code; provided.further, that the exterior of the hotel
in which the business is carried on shall not contain a store
f'ront in connection with the business and the business �.a
licensed shall only be entered from within the building, and
f urther provided that no cabaret, extra hour cabaret or limited
cabaret bar shall be licensed in said "H-l" District."
SECTION 3: That there is excluded from the "Gt' District as defined
in Section 18.�8, and included. in the "H-1" District as
herein defined the following described parcels of land, to wit;
Lot 52, 53, 5�, Block 1, Nautilus Sub.,
Plat Book 8, Page 95, and
Lot "E" of a Res�b. of Lots �8 - 51,
Block 1 of said Subdivision,
and the map referred to in Section 18.�1 be amended accordingly.
SECTION �4:
SECTION 5:
A1l ordinances in conf lict herewith be and the sarne are
hereby repealed.
This ordinance shall go into effect immediately upon its
passage and posting as required by law.
