AAT ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 20 OF THE
CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA.
HE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIA1�tI BEACH,
F L�RIDA :
SECTION l:
as follaws:
That that port�.on of Section 20-17 of Chapter 20 of
the Code of the City of Miami Beach, Florida reading
"(54) COIN-OPERATED MERCI-�ANDISE OR SERVICE VENDING
MACHINES, except machines vending drinkinq
cups or postage stamps, not otherwise provided
for herein:
Each 1� machine ...............,............ $ 4.40
Each 2� thru l5� machine .,................ 8.00
Each machine 16� and over ,....�............ 12.40"
be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"( 54) COIN-OPERATED MERCHANDISE OR SERVICE VENDIi�TG
MACHINES� except machines vending newspapers,
drinking cups or postage stamps, not otherwise
provided fo r herein:
Each l� machine .......� ................... $ 4.44
Each 2� thru 15� mach ine .................. 8.00
Each inachine 16� and over ................. 12.00
Provided, further, that any person placing
and maintaining any coin-operated news-
paper vending machine or device in any
public place shall procure and file with
the City Clerk a liability insurance policy
insuring such person for injury to the
public caused by such machines in the sum
of $10 , 000 , 00 for a.n jury to any one person ,
$20, t300 .00 for in jury to �nore than one
person in the same accident. and $1,000.�0
property damage in any ane accident."
SECTION 2: Al1 ordi.nances in conflict herewith be and the same
are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: This ordinar��e shall go into effect immediately upon
its passage and posting as required by law.
