ORDINANCE NO. 1600
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 20 OF "THE
CODE OF THE CITY' OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA"
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Section 20.17 of Chapter 20 of "The Code of
the City of Miami Beach. Fl.orida" be and the same
is hereby amended, so as to add, immediately following para-
graph 130 thereof, a new paragrap� to be numbered and to read
as follows:
"(130.2.) Motor Scooter Rental Agency, for
the first 20 rental vehicles
shall pay a minimum fee of.,....e$100.0�
For each ad�ditional rental
vehicle over 20 .................. 5.00
Provided that such agency shall be located
only in "BB", or less restricti�re, Business
Use Districts, as defined by Ordinance No.
289 of the City of Miami Beach, Florid�,
and provided that aZl motor scooters shall
be stored in locked and roofed-in facilities;
and further provided that all motor scooters
shall be subject to the insurance requixe-
ments provided for rented automobiles under
Section 42.121 of this Code."
SECTION 2s That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: That this ordinance shall go into effect immediately
upon its passage and posting as required by law.
