ORDINANCE NO. 1603
AN 4RDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 25 OF "THE
CODE OF THE CITY OF MIANiI BEACH, FLORIDA"

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTSON 1: That Chapter 25 of "The Code of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida" be and the same is hereby amended
by adding a new sectiQn thereto, immediately fo�lowing Section
25,64, to be numbered and to read as follows:
"Section 25.64.1 ABANDONED ICEBOXES, REFRIG-
ERAT4RS, ETC.
It shall be unlawful for any person to allow
any icebox, container or refrigerator to re-
main on his property, or property under his
contral, or to abandon or discard the same,
unle�s the door or doors are removed from
said icebox, container or refriqerator; pro-
vided that this section shall not apply to
any such icebox, container vr refrigerator
which is in normal use in a home, rental unit
or place of business, or is kept stored in a
place which is securely locked except to
authorized persons. Any such icebox, con--
tainer or refrigerator co,crered by this sec-
tion is further deemed a nuisance."
SECTION 2: That all ardinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
