CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA"

BE IT ORDAINED BY TH� CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA: '
SECTION 1: That Chapt�r 44 of "The Code of the City of Miami
Beach, Floridat' be and the �ame i� h�reby amended
by adding a new Article th�reto, immediately following Article
VII, to be numbered and to read a� follows:
„
"ARTICLE VTII - MOTORCYCLES, ETC.
§ 44-51. Safety Helmets - It shall be unlawful
for the operator or
passenger of any motorcycle, motor �cooter,
mini-bike, motorized bicycle or other �uch
motor driven v�hicle to operate or be a passen-
ger thereon within the City of Miami Beach
without wearing a safety h�lmet, crash helmet
or other �imilar protecti�re head covering dur-
ing the o�eration of said vehicle."
SECTION 2: 'l�hat all ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: That this ordin�nc� shall go into effect im�ediately
upon its pa��age and po�ting as required by law.
