ORDINANGE NO. 1616
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 289,
COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE "Z4NING ORDiNANCE
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA"
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CSTY C4UNCIL OF THE CITY �F MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That that portion of Section 21 of �rdinance
No. 289, commonly known as "The Zoning
Ordinance of the Ci�y of M.iami Beach, Florida"� reading as
follows :
"Any petitioner requesting and obtaining a
public hearing on at� application for change of
zoning or other amendment to this ordinance
shall pay, upon the adoption of the resolution
calling the public hearing required hereby, the
sum of Twenty-f i�e ($ 2 5. 40 ) Dollars as costs of
publishing and mailing the notices required by
this section."
be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Any petitioner requesting and obtaining a public
hearing on an application for chang� o� zoning
or other amendment to this oardinance shall pay,
upon the adoption of the resolt�tion calling the
public hearing required hereby, the sum of
Seventy-f ive i$7 5.�0 ) Dollars as costs of
publishing and mailing the notices required by
this section.
In the event the public hearing as originally
called or scheduled is continued or recessed
at the request of the petitioner, the said
petitioner sha11 pay an additional. charge of
Twenty-five ($25.00) Dollars to defray the
costs of such continuation or postpanement."
SECTION 2. That that portion of Section 22 of �rdinance
� No. 289, commonly known as "The Zoning 4rdinance
of the City of Miami Beach� Florida" reading as follows:
"Any person requesting and obtaining a public
hearing on an application for a variance before the
Board shall pay, upon the adoption of a motion
or resvlution calling a public hearing, the sum o€ Z'�aenty-
five �$25.00) Dollars as costs ta defray the
exgense of public notices and other administrative
costs in connection with said hearing."

public hearing on an applicatian for a variance
before the Board shall pay, upon the adoption

hearing, t�Y�e sum of Fifty ($54.00) Dollars
as costs to defray the expense of public notices
and other administrative costs in connection with
�aid hearing.
In the event the public hearing as originally
called or scheduled is continued or recessed
at the request of the applicant, the said applicant
shall pay an additional charge of Twenty-five
($25.0�) Dollars to defray the costs of such
continuatian or postponement."
SECTION 3. That all ordinances, or parts of ordinances,
in conflict herewith, be and the same are
hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall go into effect
immediately upon its passage and posting as
required by law.
