FLORIAA:
SECTI�N l. That Section 5C.01 of Ordinance No. 845 of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, be amended by
adding thereto, immediately at the end thereof, an additional
sentence reading as follows:
"An �mployee r�ember ret�.ring under the
provisions of Section 5C may convert his
Retirement Allowance into a joint allowance
of equivalent actuara.al value in accordance
with the provisions of Section 5A hereof, as
if said Retirement Allowance were payable
under �.he provisions of Section 5A."
SECTIQN 2. That all ordinances or parts of ardinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are
hereby regealed.
SECT=ON 3. That� this ardinance shall go into effect
immediately upon its passage and posting as
required by law.
