BE IT 4RDAINED BY THE GITY COUNCIL OF TI�E CITX lJF MSAMI BEACH,
FL4R=DA:
SECTION l. Tlz�t Section 2I. of Ordinance Na. 239, co.mmonly
known as the "Zoning Oxdinance of City of Miami
Beach, Florida" be and the same is hereby amended by adding
thereto, immediately at the end thereof, the following
paragraphs:
"Any person appearing before the City Council
at a public hearing in regard to an application
for a change of zoning or other amendr►ent to
this ordinance shall be administered the
following oath by any person duly authori2ed
under the laws of Florida to administer oaths:

unc�er oath, that any and all testimony to be
given by me in this proc�eding is the truth,
the whole tr��th, and nathing but the �ruth,
so help me Got� : `
Any person giving false testimony before the
City Council at a public hearing in regard to
an application for a change of zoning or
other amendments to this ordinance shall
be deemed to have violated the provisions
her�of and shall be subject to �he�maximum
penalt� prescribed by Section 2 of the ''Code
of the City of l�fiami Beach, Florida' ."
SECTION 2. That Section 22 of Ordinance No. 289, commonly
known as the "Zoning Ordinance of City of r�.ami
Beach, Florida", be and the same is hereby amended, by adding
thereto, immediately at the end thereof, the following
paragraphs:
"Any person appearing bafore the 2oning Board
of Adjustment on an application for a variance
from the provisions of this ordinance shall be
ac�n�tinistered the foilowing oath by any person
duly authorized under the laws oi Florida to
administer oaths:

do hereby swear, under
oath, that any and all testimony to be given
by me in this proceeding is the truth, tne
whole truth, and nothing 1�ut the truth, so
help me God;'

Ordinance No. 1647 entitled: "AN ORDINANCE ANIENDING ORDINANCE
NO. 289, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ' ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CIZ'Y OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA'"
having been passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Miami 8each, Florida, has been posted by me in three conspicuous
places in the City of Miami Beach, one of which was at the door
of the City Hall in said City on the 19th day of April, 1967
and that said Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least
thirty days in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter
of the said City of Miami Beach.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand and
affixed the official seal of the City of Miami Seach, Florida,
on this the 7th day of June, 1967.
