AN OKDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 45-ll�f)
OF "THE CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FL4t�IDA" .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY �OUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FL0I�IDA :
SECTION 1: That Section 45-11{f} of "The Cade of the City of
Mia�ni Beach, Florida" reading as follows :
"Sec, 45-11�f) Under no circumstances sha11 abate-
ments, allowances, deductions or
refunds be made o�, actual or alleged excessive metered
water supply service bills, accounts or charges, far
or on account of water used, lost or wasted through
leaks, �arelessness, neglect or otherwise, after the
same has passed through the me�er."
be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Sec. 45-11(f) The Public works Dir�ctor may adjust !
any wa�er,supply service bill, account
or charge, for or on account of water used, lost or
wasted throug,h leaks, carelessness, neglect o� other-►
wise, after the same has passed through the meter,
with the approval of the city manager when circum-
stances so dictate. The maximum adjustinent allowable
under this subsection shali not result in a charge
lower than the rate charged�to municip�l consuraexs as
set forth in Section 45-4 (b) ."' a
SECTION 2: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed,
SECTION 3: That this ordinance shall go inta effect immediately :
upon its passage and posting as required by law.

Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me in three conspicuous
places in the City of Miami Beach, one of which was at the door
of the City Hall in said City on the 19th day of April, 1967
and that said Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least
thirty days in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter
of the said City of Miami Beach.
